MULTICULTURAL MEN’S FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT

SUNDAY 2nd October 2010

 

REGISTRATION;

We are aiming for 20 teams of different Ethnicity – first in first served basis.

Any ‘doubleups’ will be advised upon receipt of registration and put on a waiting list.

Final decision of placements will be at the discretion of the organising committee.

If registration is oversubscribed then the team entry will be refunded.

Draws and other information will be forwarded one week before the Tournament Via Email.

Registered Player Lists to be given to the Tournament Controller before Tournament commencement.

Payment is required with Registration. 

 

 

FORMAT;

Five Aside – Maximum of 8  registered players per team.

20 Teams in 4 Pools of 5 Teams

Rolling substitutions – 5 Aside Rules apply

Pool Play - 10 mins each way (no half time break)

At the end of pool play points will be tallied,

Win – 3 points

Draw – 1 point

The top team from each Pool goes forward to Semi Finals

Semi Finals – 12.5 mins each way (no half time break)

The winning two teams go forward to the Finals

Finals – 12.5 mins each way (no half time break)

 

Prizes:              1st Place Team – Trophy plus Gold Medals each player

                        2nd Place Team – Silver Medals each player

                        3rd / 4th  Semi Finalists – Bronze Medals each player

                        Participation Medals for all other players of each team

 

Referees:         A Referee will be provided for each game.

                        NZ Football Rules apply.

                        Games will be kept to time.

                        REFEREES DECISION FINAL.

 

A matchball will be provided.

 

RULES:

Shinpads are compulsory, players not wearing shinpads will not be permitted to enter

the field of play.

Sandshoes, blades or moulded sole studded boots are permitted to be worn.

No Screw in Studs allowed.

Goalkeeper only allowed in defensive semi circle and must remain in semi circle.

Entry by attacking or defensive team player is an indirect free kick on the edge of the area.

Ball from Goalkeeper must be rolled out underarm (this includes goal kicks).

Corners will apply.

Ball must not be played above shoulder height, referee’s discretion.

Overheight ball is an indirect Free kick.

Defensive teams must  be at least 1m back from free kicks and throw in’s.

Throw in’s will be kicked in from sideline.

Substitutions must be made via referee and from half way line.

There are no Offsides

Each team must provide an assistant referee for each of their own games.
